explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about
the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to
find, we make it available on the top navigation bar on every page of the
Website.
ITA values our
visitors' privacy; however, at all times ITA reserves the right to disclose

property, or during emergencies when safety is at risk.

The Way We Use
Information
We automatically gather information about the areas
you visit on our Website, but our system only recognizes domain name and not
the specific site or e-mail address. We use this information to help improve our
Website and our services. We also may share statistical information with our
members or other outside companies, but do not disclose individual names or
individually-identifiable navigational information.
Information
that users post, write or post in public or in member "chat" areas or
bulletin boards, if any, is available to the public and ITA does not control
use of or access to that information. (ITA currently does not have any
"chat" areas on the Website.)
ITA currently
uses information so we can fulfill any orders, membership or registration
requests. We may use lists of members' names and postal addresses, and e-mail
addresses to send or make product and service offers we think may be of
interest to you by direct mail or telephone. If you elect not to receive solicitations from
us, please send an e-mail with Subject: "Remove from all lists" to lauren@itvalliance.org.
You may at any
time choose to remove your name and address from the marketing lists we may use.
You can exercise some or all of the following options:
When in a
future instance that we collect information for marketing lists, you may remove
your name from any marketing lists we may have by contacting Lauren Outland at
310-663-1302.
How You Can Access or
Correct Your Information
You have access to all your personally identifiable
information that we collect online and maintain. You may correct or amend your
personally identifiable information by contacting Lauren Outland at 310-663-1302.
To protect
your privacy and security, we also will take reasonable steps to verify your
identity before granting access or making corrections. Prior to being given
your information, you will be asked cross-reference questions (i.e. full name,
address, phone number and, if applicable, credit card expiration date) to
verify your identity and secure your privacy.
Our Commitment to Data
Security
We use state-of-the-art technology to keep your
personal information - including your billing and account information - as
secure as possible. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and
ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate
physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the
information we collect online.
Our Commitment to
Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially
important. No part of the Website is directed to children under the age of 13,
and ITA does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the
age of 13.
Visits/Purchases Made
on Other Websites
Although ITA's site includes links providing direct
access to other Internet sites, ITA takes no responsibility for the content or
information contained on those sites - or the purchases made
through them - and does not exert any control over those sites.
ITA is
providing information and services on the Internet as a benefit and service of
membership and in furtherance of electronic retailing.
Other Internet
sites that you visit may have their own privacy policies or no policy at all.
They may have privacy terms that differ from ITA's
privacy policy, and they may use personal information that you may provide them
differently than our policy permits. We encourage our members and the others
companies we work with to post clearly their own privacy policies and to have
privacy control systems in place to protect your personal information, but
strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site before
providing any personal information.
Policy Changes
We will advise you if we change our Privacy Policy.
Whenever we change our policy, we will give you 30 days' notice of those
changes through notification on our front screen homepage. Regardless of any
change to the privacy policy, we will provide you with an opportunity to
prohibit or otherwise opt-out before any new use is made of your information.
