[ Agenda ]
“Ten rooms. Ten technologies. One hundred executives”.
2-day, invitation-only, personalized showcase
targeting executive producers / showrunners from prominent TV series.
And media-directors / brand-managers from major advertising brands.
General Background:
ITA
will be taking over eight cottages and two multi-room bungalows at the historic
Miramar Hotel
above the beach in
Santa Monica.
The hotel site was the original home of the city's founder and was built around
the 80-foot Moreton Bay Fig Tree, now over 115 years old. Each room will be
hosted by a leading ITV company
showcasing interactive technologies--
applications that are
available today and operational today.
The program
begins with a Sunday afternoon Walk-Through, where participants sample the different ITV technologies in each cottage.
As the evening approaches, we'll assemble for a special "Digital
Content Forum", where 20 leading content producers and industry luminaries
will lead an open discussion on the state of Internet video and Broadband TV.
After the Forum, we'll continue on to a special Progressive Dinner.
For two hours, we’ll navigate room-to-room, explore state-of-the-art
television applications, dine on tapas and wine... and mingle with peers and
press.
Monday morning concludes with a Roundtable Breakfast hosted by L.E.K. Consulting and the ITA Mentors (former
network/studio CEOs). We'll be highlighting LEK's extensive consumer survey
on the effect of the Wall Street collapse-- and the impact on media and
technology companies. Following breakfast, we'll resume meeting in the
cottages... wheeling and dealing till noon.
Tech companies who have been
involved include: Intel, Microsoft, TiVo,
TandbergTV, HSN, Ensequence, Schematic, Panache and DaveTV.
Invited producers include representatives from Jerry Bruckheimer, Abrams, David Kelley, Mark Burnett, Steve Oedekerk and
Vin DiBona.
Advertisers include Johnson & Johnson, Procter and Gamble, the GAP and
Chase Visa.
Participants:
100 high-level executives
(most invitees are CEO/VP, lead producer, or brand manager). They represent
prominent companies from
Content, Technology,
Advertising, and Distribution.
